Dinner and a movie is definitely good.

I see. I have heard legend of such people before, but have never met one. I do suppose that the 'full moon' part is not true?

I think we'll just have to walk around and see what places there are. I'm still fairly new here myself and I'm pretty sure this world has movie theaters as well.

[At the question, however, she gives a small smile]

I still have to get out and run when the moon is full. I might not have a full wolf form, but I do have to cater to the pull of the moon.

That sounds like a good idea. It may give us a chance to learn the layout of this worlds, as well as other amenities that can be found here.

I see. Does your world know of your people, are do you have to keep to the shadows?

There are hunters that know of my kind and some of our friends. However, we mainly keep to the shadows.

I'm sure we can find something.

I think hunters see it as a little bit of both. Well, they see it as we're too dangerous to be around humans.

New wolves have a hard time of control. Though mainly it's just how the hunters percieve us.

What science are you versed in?

[ This is Spock. Captain, first officer, and entire crew of the USS Overthinks. ]

I am knowledgeable in many fields, including astrophysics, stellar cartography, phonology, and if you consider ethics to be science, interspecies ethics. Programming is my specialty, however.

Thor can't help but think that Jane might have gotten well with this strange man, however, it is Spock's specialty that stcks mostly with the blond.]

Tell me, sir, do you enjoy programming robots?

[Because, you know, self-aware robots tend to leave a sour taste in Thor's mouth now and then.]

[ Spock would find Jane a most exemplary individual. Clearly Thor has some good taste. ]

Negative. I am unfamiliar with programming robots and self-supporting androids or AI. My primary focus in programming is on computers.

[Of course he does have good tastes!

Good. Those I have encountered turned out to be quite dangerous. It is a relief that they would not be created in this realm either.

What was the nature of the danger from these robots? And if individuals are the creator, is it not their fault that the robots or AI prove dangerous?

It felt that the only way to protect humankind was to have them survive and evolve from near extinction.

My understanding was that the creature evolved its mind....its program, and chose to be the evil we had to combat, instead of being the savior its creator wished it for.

I was not aware that you liked dancing. I must admit that this is not my forte, but it is something I have always liked to watch.

Ah, I can't say that is something I've ever truly done on my own. Most of the dancing I'm use to requires at least two people.

[Not that Thor really likes ballet, but it's the first solo dance he can think of that may not be offensive to Inara (thanks Tony for introducing him to more...exotic dances).]

It's a challenge I'd be willing to accept.

Of course I have, I love watching the ballet... Though, I've never done ballet so it's only something I watch.

If you promise to be patient with me, then I would not mind learning. I suppose it may be a skill that will come useful one day.

[You know, because it might be a good place to bring ladies to entertain them.]

I assure you, I'd be very patient.

[Really, she's probably one of the most patient people in the city.]

Sadly, I don't... It would be lovely if there was though, I'd love to be able to go and see a ballet again.

[In another life time, Thor would have felt pride and it would have inflated his ego to be called 'perceptive and wise', but now, it simply makes him laugh slightly. If his time on Midgar has taught him something, it is that he lacks perception. Though, he may be a bit more wiser than before.

But Thor is still trusting people too quickly, especially humans: it will always be his downfall.]

Then I am asking if you would honor me with a chance to share supper with me, my lady. Though I highly recommend that we find a place where food is serve: I am afraid that my skills lay elsewhere than in a kitchen.

[There were different levels of perception, but the compliment had been meant kindly. She hardly knew him and had to rely on what she could glean from his texts. Once they met face to face, she might be able to get a better read on him.]

I think that's wise. I would offer to cook, but I am not better in the kitchen. If we wish to enjoy our meal, it is better left in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing.

Aye, it would be best. I do not think either of us would have a 'good time' if the food we share is uneatable. I will leave the choice of the restaurant, however. I have not been long enough in this realm to be able to recommend any places.

Perhaps somewhere close to where you claim residence? I should like the chance to see more of the city and I imagine it would be nice for you to remain in a familiar environment.
