INCENTIVE: Answers on where are the Infinity Stones are, and who is trying to collect them in the past few years.

FIT: As the Norse God of fertility, Thor would be at ease in the world of Eudio. In his canon point, he is no longer in a relationship with Jane Foster (though still harbours feelings for her), so it would not stop him from fulfilling his end of the bargain. Also, since his incentive would give him and the Avengers an edge on protecting Earth and Asgard, he would see this opportunity as some sort of self 'sacrifice', as in 'taking one for the team' in order to potentially save millions of life. And lastly, there is nothing in his canon to indicate that Thor hasn't had casual encounters in his past, and if he had (which is more likely giving the nature of Norse Gods), it's clear that it hasn't affected him in the least.

CONSENT: Thor is big on respect and honor and anything done without consent would not fall along the lines of his core character. As part of his banishment in his first move, Thor had to learn about respect, about putting himself in someone's shoes in order to care for others. It's only when he comes to care for the humans more than for his life that he regains his abilities. As a warrior, he also believes that there is no honor in taking something that's not meant for him, and throughout all of his canon, never Thor is shown to abuse of his powers, to hurt others that didn't mean to hurt him first. Out of love for the human race, he chooses to give up his right to the Asgardian throne, so he can live on Earth, to protect it.

ANYTHING ELSE? Thor is an Asgardian, and therefore looks very much human while having supernatural powers.
